Personal Data
In the 2016/679 Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union “on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data” typically referred to as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), ‘personal data’ is defined as “any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.”
The Faculty of Education does not gather personal data of its website’s visitors.
Non – Personal Data
In the 2018/1807 Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union “on a framework for the free flow of non-personal data in the European Union”, ‘non-personal data’ is defined as “data other than personal data as defined in point (1) of Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679”.
The Faculty of Education collects non-personal data of its website’s visitors, such as the type of device and browser they are using to access the website, the pages they visit, the time they spend on the website, etc. The Faculty utilizes this data exclusively for the purpose of better organizing the structure of its website and the information posted in it, as well as for statistical reasons.
