The Faculty
The Faculty of Education is one of the first Schools at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki that has developed a series of environmental management actions. For the implementation of the majority of actions, the Deanship cooperates with the Environmental Committee of the Faculty of Education as well as with the Environmental Office of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Green Environment & Recycling Corner on the ground floor of the Pedagogical Tower.

Collection of bins for the management of recyclable waste, such as packaging bins (plastic, paper, aluminum, glass), lamps and lighting fixtures, electrical and electronic appliances, ink cartridges, household batteries and other accumulators.

Publication and distribution of a special information and awareness leaflet on recycling “Nothing to throw away” by the Environmental Committee of the Faculty of Education in collaboration with the Deanship.
Installation of chillers, installation of filters and regular inspection of their operation for their use by the public, after conducting a check on the quality of water supply.
The ultimate goal is the gradual reduction of bottled water consumption and plastic waste produced by them, as well as the free provision of a public good such as water.

Continuous encouragement of the members of the Faculty of Education for responsible use of cooling/heating units as well as the rational use of water.
